Burleson Adventist Church

Current Ministry Needs

It takes everyone doing their part in any family for the family to function and florish. It's the same for your "church family." We encourage you to discover the blessing of serving where God has uniquely shaped you. Here are some of the areas we currently need your help with:

Audio/Visual:  We are in need of more volunteers in our A/V Ministry. This is a very important position which involves a good ear to keep sound balanced, attention to detail, and a comfort level with computers/video/etc.  If you are interested in helping, please contact Coordinator: Jimmy Mendoza

Greeters:The greeter is the visitor’s first connection with our church and sets the tone for each individual’s experience with church fellowship and worship. First impressions are often lasting impressions and we are looking for those willing and able to demonstrate the love of Christ in a warm and inviting way to all who walk through our doors. Usually greeters are scheduled to serve one Sabbath every four to six weeks. You will need to be on duty in the foyer from 9:30am until about 11:30am. Coordinator: Deanna Weeks

Sabbath School:
Burleson Church has a large number of families with children and we consider this a huge blessing!  We are deeply committed to training these children to know, love, and serve Jesus and are always looking for people who love kids and want to minister to them. Classes range from Tiny Tots through Youth.    Coordinator: Nez Pollock

Pianist: Cradle Roll Sabbath School needs pianists on a rotating basis. This is an important roll for this class as most of the learning is done through music. The program repeats every Sabbath for three months and is a great way for you to use your gift of music in a low key enviornment. Contact: Nez Pollock

Children's Story Teller: Children's Story is about a 5 minute story or object lesson with spiritual moral geared for pre-school through early elementry school age children. If you are willing to tell such a story occasionally, please contact Joanna Gendke.
